They come from different countries, backgrounds and academic paths, together around a common question:
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀?

During induction week at Université Côte d’Azur, our students explored urban challenges across the world through a map activity that also helped them form their learning communities.
Then, the conversation moved beyond the classroom.
Meeting the engineering teams at IMREDD opened up a different 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, connecting urban challenges with 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The conversations touched on resilience and risk management, energy communities and monitoring, traffic simulation, autonomous mobility, geothermal systems and LiDAR technologies — a unique opportunity to connect what our students study with real-world engineering projects .

And this year, our international community is growing even further, with new scholarship opportunities including 𝗟𝗮𝗳𝗮𝘆𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲, 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗶–𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗻e, and 𝗟𝗣𝗗𝗣.

So, rather than simply saying “welcome”, we wanted to take a moment to say :
