As part of the sustainable development and energy efficiency approach, IMREDD is multiplying renewable energy sources. In addition to the photovoltaic solar panels that already cover the energy needs of the building, IMREDD has installed a wind turbine.

The INERGYS installation is composed of a vertical axis and mobile blades which, for a wind speed of 12 m/s, generates a nominal power of 1.2 kW. This power output can, in case of strong wind, reach 3 kW.

The energy performance approach allows IMREDD not only to be self-sufficient in energy, but also to reintegrate the access of the energy produced to the grid.
