Fundamentals of Urban Planning and Design: Students receive a foundational understanding of urban planning and design, with a focus on sustainable urbanism and its connection to the smart cities concept.

Challenges in Contemporary Urban Form: This section delves into the challenges posed by urban form in modern cities, highlighting its role as an enabler of human activities within an urban environment.

Pattern Languages in Urbanism: Students explore pattern languages as a means of articulating and understanding urban form, enriching their understanding of the city’s design.
